On December 17, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Chinese Embassy to Libya Liu Jian met with Minister of Technical and Vocational Education in the Government of National Unity of Libya Yakhlef Al-Saifaw in Tripoli.

Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Liu Jian stated that the friendship between China and Libya has a long history and that there are broad prospects for bilateral cooperation. China is willing to strengthen cooperation with Libya in areas such as personnel training and technological exchanges, so as to further advance the development of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Minister Yakhlef Al-Saifaw stated that Libya attaches great importance to the development of relations with China, and expressed readiness to draw upon China's advanced expertise and successful experiences in vocational and technical education, and to enhance bilateral exchanges, thereby continuously enriching the substance of practical cooperation between the two countries.
