On December 3, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Chinese Embassy to Libya Liu Jian met with Interior Minister in the Government of National Unity of Libya Emad Al-Trabelsi in Tripoli.

Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Liu Jian expressed appreciation to the Libyan Ministry of Interior for its facilitation and support in ensuring the safe resumption of operations for the Chinese Embassy in Libya. He expressed hope that Libya would continue to provide a secure and stable environment for Chinese enterprises investing and operating in the country, thereby further advancing the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Minister Emad Al-Trabelsi affirmed Libya's high regard for the development of friendly relations with China, welcomed Chinese enterprises to participate in Libya's reconstruction and development efforts, and reaffirmed the government's commitment to taking necessary measures to safeguard the security of Chinese institutions and personnel in Libya, thus promoting new progress in mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
