On December 3, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Chinese Embassy to Libya Liu Jian met with Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade in the Government of National Unity of Libya Suhail Abu Sheha in Tripoli.

Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Liu Jian stated that China and Libya share a long-standing friendship and substantial potential for cooperation across various fields. China stands ready to work with Libya to actively enhance bilateral trade, facilitate personnel exchanges, and jointly create new prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

Deputy Minister Suhail affirmed that Libya warmly welcomes the resumption of operations by the Chinese Embassy and is eager to strengthen practical cooperation with China in various areas such as trade and investment. Libya looks forward to the early return of Chinese enterprises and to promoting sustained growth in bilateral cooperation.
