On November 27, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Chinese Embassy to Libya Liu Jian met with Deputy Defense Minister in the Government of National Unity of Libya Abdulsalam Zubi in Tripoli.

Chargé d'Affaires Liu Jian expressed appreciation to the Libyan security authorities for facilitating and assisting the return of Chinese Embassy to Libya, hoping that Libya would provide security guarantees for Chinese enterprises investing and operating in Libya, thereby promoting greater development of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Deputy Minister Abdulsalam Zubi welcomed the return of the Chinese Embassy to Libya, stating that Libya highly values the cooperation with China. He stated that Libya is committed to taking necessary measures to safeguard the security of Chinese companies and personnel operating in the country, thereby ensuring the steady progress of practical bilateral cooperation.
