On November 12, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Chinese Embassy to Libya Liu Jian held a collective meeting in Tripoli with the directors from the Department of Asia-Australia Affairs, the Department of Protocol, and the Department of Foreign Media in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Government of National Unity of Libya.

Libyan officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed and extended congratulations on the reopening of the Chinese Embassy to Libya, expressing Libya's willingness to further deepen cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including politics, economy, culture, science and technology, to achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.

Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Liu Jian expressed appreciation to  Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant departments for their support and facilitation in enabling the Embassy’s return to Libya, and stated that China is willing to take this opportunity to promote more tangible achievements in bilateral cooperation across various sectors and to continuously strengthen and advance the China-Libya strategic partnership.
