On March 12, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Chinese Embassy to Libya Liu Jian met with Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Government of National Unity of Libya Al-Taher Al-Baour in Tripoli.

Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Mr. Liu Jian briefly outlined the key messages of China's Two Sessions in 2025 and expressed that China is committed to working with Libya to reinforce political mutual trust, deepen practical cooperation in various fields, and continuously advance new milestones in the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Minister Al-Taher Al-Baour stated that Libya attaches great importance to developing relations with China and aspires to strengthen high-level exchanges and cooperation in multiple fields, thereby elevating bilateral relations to a higher level and bringing tangible benefits to the people of both countries.
